Communications Director (m/f), Lower Hutt in Lower Hutt, Wellington

Your tasks:
- As a member of the Communications team, the Director will work with teammates to generate online content that engages audience segments and leads to measurable action
- Serve as a key writer, working with Senior Director to continually hone and integrate meaningful messages into appropriately targeted communications
- Manage electronic newsletter,serving as lead editor, writer, and process manager
- Work with Senior Director to create a press strategy and build organizational capacity for increased media relations activities
- Build communications vehicles to create momentum andawareness as well as to test the effectiveness of communications activities
- Develop, implement, and evaluate an annual communications plan
Your skills:
- Exceptional written, interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to effectively interface with multiple audiences, internal teams and stakeholders while presenting complex ideas clearly and in an engaging manner
- Superior project management and organization skills
- Commitment to excellence and accuracy, with an ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with interactive design, website management/maintenance and email marketing platforms
- Proven track record in developing and leading comprehensive communications, media relations, marketing and online strategies, including experience managing social media outreach
- Must have strong time management skills and remain flexible in order to accommodate multiple projects simultaneously, many with tight deadlines
- Ability to execute a complex plan in an entrepreneurial environment
